Century Tool works closely with a trusted network of partners to provide a full range of value-added services that complement our in-house machining capabilities. We source certified raw materials—including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, nickel, brass, and copper—and can meet strict requirements such as domestic DFARS compliance and exclusions for Russian and Chinese origins when specified.

Our partners support us with specialized services including heat treating, non-destructive testing, plating, grinding, honing, splining, and EDM. We also offer high-quality finishing options such as CARC, wet paint, and powder coating. This integrated approach ensures we deliver fully finished, ready-to-use parts that meet the most demanding customer specifications.

Heat Treating

Enhances the strength, hardness, and wear resistance of metal components through controlled thermal processing.

Grinding

Delivers precision surface finishes and tight tolerances, ideal for critical dimensions and high-performance applications.

Chrome Plating

Provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface with excellent wear properties—commonly used in high-friction or high-visibility parts.

Manganese Phosphate (Mag Phos)

Offers a protective, anti-galling coating often used for wear resistance, break-in lubrication, and corrosion protection.

Black Oxide

A chemical conversion coating that adds excellent corrosion resistance, reduces light reflection, and provides a uniform black appearance.

Painting (Powder and Liquid)

Protects components from environmental exposure while offering aesthetic and functional finishes to match customer requirements.

Non-Destructive Testing

A non-destructive testing method used to detect surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials.

Fine Grinding

Delivers ultra-smooth surfaces with extremely tight tolerances, suitable for critical sealing and mating applications.

Honing

Improves surface finish and dimensional accuracy, often used for bores and cylindrical parts that require precise geometry and finish.

Splining

Creates internal or external gear-like profiles used to transfer torque and maintain alignment in mechanical assemblies.
